Humble Grounds Community Support Fund

Frequently Asked Questions

Let's Work Together

Applications may be submitted by the family themselves or by someone supporting the family.

Where an application is submitted by another person on behalf of a family, the applicant must have the family's consent to do so.

You do not need to be a Humble Grounds or be™ client to apply.

A child or young person does not need to have an NDIS plan or a formal diagnosis to be considered for assistance.

What can funding be used for?

Funding may be considered for services, supports or resources that are likely to make a meaningful difference to a child's, young person's or family's wellbeing, development, participation, independence or quality of life.

Depending on the circumstances of the application and the funds available, this may include:

  • Speech pathology

  • Occupational therapy

  • Psychology or counselling

  • Social work

  • Allied health assistance

  • Assessment services

  • Medical or specialist services

  • Assistive technology or communication resources

  • Therapeutic or developmental resources

  • Other services, supports or resources that address a significant barrier for the child or family

This list is not exhaustive. Each application will be considered individually.

Humble Grounds may provide full or partial financial assistance, depending on the circumstances of the application, the cost of the requested support and the funds available at the time.
